Hiking Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park

Hey Titans! Let's hike at Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park this Sunday the 11th at 7:30AM. We will hike 5-6 miles on moderately difficult trails. It'll be hot, humid, and sunny so make sure you bring AT LEAST 2 liters of water and sun protection. Be prepared for a tough but rewarding hike on some fun trails. Low creek crossings are avoidable but come ready in case we're feeling a bit adventurous.

Meet at the kiosk/trail map by the playground/swimming pool parking lot. There are multiple parking lots, so look for the playground, and the kiosk is off to the right 30 yards or so. If you're by the big compass on the ground, go towards the playground to find the group.

We WILL be hiking along popular bike paths so be mindful of your surroundings and announce bikes to the people around you. Stay to the right when on the paved trail.
Well behaved dogs are allowed on leashes. You will be responsible for properly disposing of any pet waste while hiking with the group.
