Coogee Beach to Bondi Beach to Coogee Pavilion Roof Lunch / Drinks & Whales?

I’m loving this cooling weather change… “perfect hiking weather” season is about to begin. However, I will miss our chance for rooftop drinks overlooking the ocean.

So? Let’s do a classic hike / walk Coogee Beach to Bondi Beach and return then rooftop session as the weather is juuuuuuust holding on long enough for us to sit and sin in the warm sun. If you haven’t been to Coogee Pav Roof – the views are amazing, and the food is from “Jimmy’s” in the CBD – great mediterranean at a pretty reasonable price. Off we go...

THE HIKE
If you’re a newbie to Sydney or on holidays, stop reading here and hit the “Join NOW” button. You have to do this all-coastal hike. It’s officially whale watching season too – maybe we’ll be lucky to spot a few.
For the rest of ya? Do it for the exercise. Do it for the social bits. Do it for the drinking (yeah, I know you will you loose units), and do it for the rooftop views with a lovely lunch.

We start at Coogee Pavilion… to Gordon’s Bay, to Clovelly Beach, to Waverley Cemetery… onto Bronte Beach, Tamarama Beach, Mackenzie’s Bay, and then Bondi Beach. Ocean / beach views galore. Great perving. Just a great day in the sun. 13kms return. Do it one way (please get in touch so we can meet up in Bondi) or both. Up to you.

We’ll loop back at Bondi Beach, then hopefully finish at Coogee Pav just before noon. The great secret is – all the outdoor rooftop seating is free from reservations. So, they open the ropes just before noon, and we’ll grab some great seats with perfect ocean views.

b) $10 cash or PayID for this one.
c) Pleeeeeeeaaaase respect our lovely bars / restaurants (when I put my credit card down) that say "Yes, we'd love to host your group". Your RSVP "Yes" is your word - keep your word. Newbies (have a profile pic please) that RSVP yes and don’t show up? Ban incoming.
d) You don't have to drink! We are also a hiking group.
e) Be on time. Be on time. Be on time... or catch up. The hike is an easy one to follow.

g) I'll have dog treats - don't worry about that.
h) Pretty easy hike - but be fit / ready for a good pace. Please keep up.
