MJ's BDay & CATERPILLAR CLUB! Dee Why - Manly Beach. Hike Sydney Harbour v3!

I'm a simple fella. I don't require "stuff" for my birthday. I just want:
a) To hike with cool, fun hikers in Mother Nature and share some laughs and Sydney sights;
b) See a couple of the "40,000 whales that are migrating north"; and
c) "Cheers" with a drink or two over Happy Hour.

So, I'll mix my birthday (officially 23 June so please send bulky gifts, wine, and strippers on that day thank you very much) hike with our "Hiking All 101kms of Sydney Harbour Series" and do a beauty of a hike - Dee Why Beach to Manly Beach and North Head Manly.

HIKING SYDNEY HARBOUR.
If you're following along, our "Hike ALL of Sydney Harbour Series: is:
Hike 1, Dee Why Beach to Manly Wharf 16kms
Hike 2, Manly Wharf to Mosman Wharf 22kms
Hike 3, Mosman Wharf to Woolloomooloo Wharf 16kms
Hike 4, Sydney Opera House to Watson's Bay 17kms (Done)
Hike 5, Watson's Bay to Coogee Beach 15kms
Hike 6, Cronulla Beach to Captain Cook's Landing Spot 14kms (Done)

DEE WHY BEACH to MANLY BEACH.
Dee Why to Manly Beach is essentially "2 hikes in 1", so there's something here for all hikers... If you only want to do Dee Why Beach to Manly Beach? Cool. You're in for a 7kms Coastal Hike, then you can exit. Yet if you're carrying on for the full challenge? We've added 9kms of coastal beauty in North Head, Collins Flat Beach, and Little Manly Beach - perhaps two beaches you've never seen - but damn well should.

At 16kms, I hope we can finish in 4hrs. So, between 2-2:30pm and 4pm (when Caterpillar Happy Hour begins), we've gotta get a little spiffed up and use Felon's Bar as a locker room and place to get a post-hike drink!

Sounds like a lot of moving parts, eh? Nah. We're hiking then drinking and eating. Easy as.

THE DRINKS.
a) When we finish hiking, let's grab one at Felon's / Manly Wharf Bar. If you only fancy one, that's totally cool. Head home and enjoy the day.
b) Fancy 4pm Happy Hour at Caterpillar Club with me? Well, Felon's will be our change room as well. We'll have an hour there to have a drink / change. Then we jump on the Manly Ferry to Circular Quay towards Caterpillar Club. Sooooo pack wisely. $12 cocktails and one of the best burgers ($16) should motivate you to get there.

(Please feel no pressure... Only hike with me. Felon's beer with me. Or trifecta and get loose at Caterpillar Club with me. All options are great.)

THE OTHER STUFF.
a) Don’t be late.
b) The cost. The hike is $10. Cash or PayID.
c) Honour Your RSVP. No shows on days like these are… well, not on at all. It's anti-social. You’ll be nudged out of the group.
d) Fitness. Fitness matters. There will be ups. Downs. Trail. Rocks. Nothing super technical / challenging.
e) Transport. B1 bus runs to Dee Why from north and south. It's a 10min walk to Deck 23 - our meeting point.
