Let the Chaos Begin. Lighthouse Hike / Christmas Pub Crawl! Palm Beach to Manly!

The plan...
Drink 1. Palm Beach Lighthouse (short, beautiful hike), Backpack-Roadie Drink at The Lighthouse Summit! Let's "Cheers" with amazing views.
Drink 2. The Joey. Stunning bar on the water - will be hard to leave.
Drink 3. The Newport. This joint deserves a little more time - lunch is here.
Drink 4. The Mona. A locals, beachy-vibe pub in Mona Vale.
Drink 5. 7th Day. Microbrew garage bar in Brookvale. Superb spot.
Drink 6. Freshwater Brewing Company. Across from 7th Day. Another chilled garage bar.
Drink 7. Bombies Rooftop Bar. New spot on Harbord Hotel's Rooftop in Freshwater (next to Manly Beach). DJ and Happy Hour Margaritas start at 6pm.

We meet at 930am in Palm Beach. We leave for the hike at 945am!

Santa’s Rules of the Day…
a) No sneaky-random (eavesdropping) pics, videos on the day. Please get loose, and please enjoy your privacy. Take pics with other hikers that are keen / know you’re taking them (only).
b) Please show up at the start. I’m keen to hike Palm Beach Lighthouse with you all. But, but… if you can’t make it that early, the latest you can join us is at The Newport. Any later than that, please change your RSVP to “Not Going”. We hike as a team. We drink as a team. We do the whole event as a team.
c) $10 Fee. Cash only. It’s easier to collect & easier to pay out our “Rock Paper Scissors” Winners (below).
d) Drink or bite to eat in hand when we leave for the next pub? Please relax. Full bus? Relax. The B1 and 199 buses run every 10minutes. You’ll catch up. The bar itinerary won’t change.
e) Honour your RSVP. Show up if you say you’re going to. People want to meet you.
f) I’ll open this chat 48hrs before our event starts. Let the questions, comments, and shit talking begin!
g) Many drinks and some flirting is to be expected – but lads, let’s be gentlemen while doing so, eh?
h) Rock Paper Scissor Tourney. Starts at The Lighthouse. If you’re there, you’re in it. If you’re not. Your opponent advances. 64… to winners at 32, 16, 8, 4, 2 and 1. 1st place is $30 toward lunch, 2nd place is $10 towards a beer / wine.

Getting to Palm Beach. B1 Bus Route is the BEST option. It starts at Wynyard to Neutral Bay, Mosman, Dee Why, and more - limited . It finishes at Mona Vale. Then transfer to the 199 bus. All buses run every 10minutes.

Dress Code. I’ll only say this. The Hike is 5kms. Beach walk. Then a paved walk the rest of the way. Bit of an incline / decline – it’s to The Lighthouse, right? Wear comfy shoes or put a change of nicer shoes in the backpack (that’s what I’m gonna do).
