New Sydney Walk: "The Greenway" to "The Bay Run" to "The Puuuuuub"!

What's better than church on a Sunday? This... Perving, beer, a Sunday Roast, and a 12kms walk in Sydneytown. "The Greenway" is a new walk in the inner-west that just opened affter yeeeeeears of development! Let's do it. Here's Channel 7 news reporting on "The Greenway" as a NYC style journey. It finishes at The Bay Run, so we'll add that loop for more distance.

I had this f'n day typed out, and not long after Legend Member Sean whatsapp'd me with "Hey, let's do this new Greenway Walk," and wooshhhh - I lost the damn MS Word document. So, this shall be short and sweet.

THE EVENT.
We meet. At Tempe Station on the platform (there is free parking there). Won't be busy. 0439 635 699 on whatsapp.
We (less hike, more) urban walk (15kms in total including The Bay Run which we'll walk) the new $57million walkway.
We Sunday pub for a beer, feed, and some laughs.

THE PUB.
When we finish, we'll jump on the inner-west light rail, and we'll jump off in Pyrmont. Let's see who signs up, but we have two choices super close...
a) GALLON. A looooovely Euro wine bar with the most amazing wine garden out back. It's one of those "WOW. What a secret, beautiful spot this is" type joints.
b) TERMINUS HOTEL. A beautifully renovated pub... cool, cozy, and feels like a throwback in time. Sunday Roast is the special and live music starts at 3pm. Beeeeauty.

THE DETAILS, TRANSPORTATION HOME.
a) $10 PayID or Cash on the day.
b) I'll be making a reservation on my credit card – deposit! Honour your RSVP!
c) Be fit, healthy. This is a pretty easy walk - flat. So let's move with passion. Please keep up.
d) Be on time (we hike at 10am - if you're late, use the map to catch up), please have a profile pic up, and (second time) if you RSVP "Yes" and ghost the hike? Well, this is our polite goodbye.
e) Post-pub the bus from Pyrmont is 10min to Town Hall, or the light rail is 10min to Central Station. Easy as.

Sounds like the perfect Sunday session to me. Who's in?
