Hike @ Southwestway Park
Details
This Saturday we'll meet at this southside hiking spot, and the terrain is primarily easy, although we will be encountering some inclines toward the end of the hike. We'll hike for about two hours and cover between 5 and 6 miles total.
Admission to Southwestway is free.
The mapping address for the park is 8400 Mann Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46221.
We'll meet in the parking lot east of Mann Road (turn left if you're coming from the north). The parking lot is located behind the ball park.
As far as restrooms, there is usually a port-a-john in the parking lot, but I suggest making a stop at the new BP gas station on Mann Road north of the park if you need to stop before arriving.
For anyone interested in lunch after the hike, we'll grab a bite to eat at the Oaken Barrel in Greenwood, about 20 minutes south of the park.
