Barrow Way towpath, Carlow to Bagenalstown

I've been out of action for a while - longer than I'd expected - with a knee injury. I messaged members through the Meetup site a while back. Not sure everyone reads those Meetup messages though! This will be a fairly unchallenging return for me after injury.
MEETING POINT: 10:15 on Sunday outside Carlow railway station. If coming from Dublin, the 9:10 train from Dublin Heuston arrives around this time. Return to Dublin from Bagenalstown on the 16:59 train. Trains can be booked online.
I did this section of the Barrow Way from Carlow to Bagenalstown a couple of years ago. It's around 16km with minimal ascent/descent. Lots of interest along the way.
