Blackstairs mountain

Meeting point, 11:30 on the verge of a small side road, just after a sheep fold. Space only for a few cars so hopefully it's not busy.

10km, ascent 650m approx. There isn't any public transport option.
I've done Blackstairs a couple of times, but not with the group. The summit straddles the border between Carlow and Wexford.
The first time, I did a longer route starting further south. What looked fine when planning on the map though, meant weaving through a field of gorse so I won't be using that route. On another occasion I descended from the summit, heading to the west to pick up a track leading back to the start. Again this proved difficult as parts were down through boulder fields, the rocks partially obscured by high heather. I'll probably go for an out and back and descend back on the ascent route. Ascent is gradual going this way, and I can't recall any difficult bits.
