We will start hiking up to the rock and 7:30. Park at the main parking lot on Perry St. if there is room. There is a restroom there. If you start hiking from there when you come to a fork in the trail, take the left fork.
If that lot is full, go one block north and turn right onto Canyon Road. Go 0.3 miles up it and park on the side of the road. There is NO restroom there. If you start hiking from there, turn left when you get to the main trail.
WE CAN NOT CLIMB UP ONTO THE ROCK. The 'trail' around the rock is flat. We can walk anywhere around there.
I suggest you bring a jacket, something to drink-no alcohol-, and a light of some type. It will be dark when we hike back down.
Bring a camera if you'd like to play with that.
