Fall Color HIke to Kenosha Pass

Details
I've done a little research. The best place for this hike will be Kenosha Pass. It'll be a little before peak color. But we should miss the hordes that will be up there on the next two weekends. Directions to the Hampden and Wadsworth PnR. Go south on Wadsworth out of Denver. Go one block South of Hampden. The PnR will be right there on the west side of Wadsworth. Please be there by 8:00 am.
Directions to the trailhead. Take Rt. 285 southwest out of Denver. The trailhead is about one hour from Denver. It's a ways past Bailey and then Grant. When you get to the pass, the trailhead will be on the left. We will meet at the restrooms.
The hike: We will be hiking on the Colorado Trail. This part of that trail is easy to moderate. There are two sections of climbing. But they are both short and not too steep. We will go up that trail until it turns to the right and starts downhill. We will have a snack break there and go back. Out and back it's about five miles. But it's one of the best places in the area to see the fall colors.
That far out of town I'm not sure where you'll get phone service.
There are restrooms at the trailhead.
Well behaved dogs are allowed. No Pitbulls.
