Backpacking 101 in Staunton State Park

This will be the easiest backpacking trip you will ever do. If you want to get into backpacking or are new at it, this trip is for you.

You will need a parking permit of $10/day for your vehicle. You can get that at the visitors center. Or at the kiosk near it if after hours. We can move into our campsite (s) after 1:00 pm on the say we arrive. Saturday.
At present time I am waiting to talk with a person at that park about how many tents we can have. I know it says 2. But that's what I want to talk with him about. Depending on the interest we may get another campsite.
There is no water at the campsites but it is very close.
We will do a day hike while we are there. Possibly as the sun sets. There will be a full moon while we are there.
