Day hike Roxborough State Park.

Directions to the Park ‘n Ride: Meet at Safeway at 8355 N. Rampart Range Rd. Park away from the store. Please be there at 7:45 am.
Directions to the trailhead: Drive to the Safeway listed above. From there go south on N. Rampart Range Rd. In about 3 miles turn left and then right after you pass the fire station. Meet at the visitor center at 8:00 am.
The hike: This is a great hike. I just found it a few weeks ago because the Park updated their map. It's a loop of 5 miles with great views. Most of the trail is easy to moderate. It's gradual uphill for the first half of the hike.
There are restrooms at the trailhead.
There is a great place for lunch back near the Safeway.
Dogs are not allowed.
