8:30 am is at the trailhead.
Directions to the trailhead: From Rt 93 in Golden, go west on Golden Gate Canyon Rd. about 8 miles. There turn left onto Robinson Hill Rd. In a little ways you will come to Camino Perdido, the north access to the park.
The hike: We will do the Travois Trail. This is an out and back hike. A total of about 5 miles. Not a lot of elevation gain. There are good views off both sides of it.
There are restrooms at the trailhead.
Well behaved dogs are allowed. No Pitbulls.
We can lunch in Golden if the group wants to.
