Please read all of the information below. If you are at the trailhead on Rooney Road, you are in the wrong place. We will not be there.
The 8:30 am is at the trailhead.
Directions to the trailhead. From Denver going west on I-70 take exit 259. Turn left at the light. Go just a little ways and turn into the parking lot on your left.
If you come up from the south, you will need to be on Rt. 93. probably out of Morrison. The parking lot will be on your right just before you get to the interstate.
The hike: This is an out-and-back hike. It begins with a climb up to the top of the ridge. Then it goes down the ridge with some up and down. Here is a description: A Guide to the Dakota Ridge Hike | Trail Report and GPS
