The forecast for Friday is partly cloudy and probably in the 20s. So dress for it. A lot of this hike is in the trees. So the wind shouldn't be too much of a factor. You might want to have your spikes in your vehicle.
Directions to the trailhead. Head SW out of Denver from C-470 on Rt. 285. I think it's about 16 miles to South Turkey Creek Road at mile marker 239. Go under 285 to the parking area.
The hike: We'll do some combination of the trails there not to exceed five miles. There is some elevation gain up to about 600 ft.
Well behaved dogs are allowed. No Pitbulls.
