Please read all of the directions.
Directions to the Park ‘n Ride: Directions to the Hampden and Wadsworth PnR. Go south on Wadsworth out of Denver. Go one block South of Hampden. The PnR will be right there on the west side of Wadsworth. Please be there by 8:00 am.
Directions to the trailhead. Go out 285 past Bailey until you come to Grant. There is a sign there but no light. Turn right onto the Geneva Pass Road. Parking and access are shared with the Whiteside Picnic Area and Campground, the first parking area on Geneva Pass Rd out of Grant on your left. It is 2.4 miles from US-285. Follow the trail about .5 mile north until you cross Geneva Pass Rd. to enter Three Mile Creek Trail proper. There is no parking at the road crossing.
The hike: The Three Mile Creek Trailhead (#635)(on some maps Threemile Creek) starts at an elevation of 8,725' and climbs steadily up Three Mile Creek. We'll go until we are half tired. Take a break. And return by the same trail.
There are restrooms at the trailhead.
Well behaved dogs are allowed. No Pitbulls.
