Backpack the Grand Canyon- April

This is the Grand Canyon backpacking trip in April (6 people). This is the itinerary of the trip to help you decide if this is something you want to do then sign up now. There is one spot open.

March 31 We drive to Kayenta and spend the night in a motel
April 1 We drive to the Grand Canyon Village and play tourist for the day. Spend the night in a motel in Tusayan just outside the Park
April 2 Hike down the South Kaibab Trail to Bright Angel Campground
April 3 Stay in same place
April 4 Hike back up SK Trail to Tonto Trail and go east spending night at Cremation
April 5 Hike Tonto Trail and spend night at Grapevine
April 6 Hike Tonto Trail and spend night at Cottonwood Creek
April 7 Hike out and drive back to Kayenta for the night
April 8 Drive back to Denver

Reserving meals at Phantom Ranch. While we are down at the bottom, you can reserve meals at the Ranch by calling 303-297-2757. They serve two dinners each night. Stew and stake. Both are very good but very expensive.

Your deposit, $85 for this trip pays for your share of the permit. You will also have to pay for your 3 nights lodging and your share of transportation. Which hasn't been determined yet. After you are officially on the trip, please send your $85 to me by Paypal.

Once this trip fills up, if you back out, I will refund 50% of your deposit if I can fill your space.
