Dayhike Roxborough St. Park.

Please read all of the directions.
Directions to the Park ‘n Ride: Off of C-470 go south on Wadsworth. After a few miles, turn left and drive through Waterton Canyon and up to the Safeway on the right at the stoplight. Park away from the grocery store. Please be there by 7:45.
Directions to the trailhead. Find directions to Roxborough St. Park here: Maps and Directions - Roxborough State Park Please be there by 8:00 am.
The hike: We're going to do about a four-mile loop. I'd rate it as moderate. It climbs some at first on part of the Carpenter Peak Trail. Then circles back around to the left using the Elk Valley and Bear Canyon trails to get back to the visitor's center.
There are restrooms at the trailhead.
