Overnight backpacking trip into Homestead Meadows.

Please read all of the directions. It's an overnight backpacking trip. We'll go in on Saturday and out on Sunday.
Directions to the trailhead. Take U.S. 36 out of Boulder and 13 miles out of Lyons to the large gravel parking area on the left side of the highway. Please be at the trailhead at 8:30 am.
The hike: It's 3.5 miles to the meadow with 1,100 feet of elevation gain. You'll come to a trail intersection with a sign on the left. Go straight up a short incline into the meadow. Go cross country over to the left. There is a low ridge over there with campsites on it.

There is a privy at the trailhead.
Well behaved dogs are allowed. No Pitbulls.
