We did this loop as a fall hike a few years ago and it was really nice. Lot's of fall color.
Directions to the Park ‘n Ride: If folks want to carpool I'll set one up.
Directions to the trailhead. The trailhead is about one hour from Castle Rock. Drive to Deckers, CO. Take Rt. 126 for a very short ways out of Deckers. Then turn left onto Rt. 211. Go 13 miles. The trailhead will be on your left. I'll add the time to be there tomorrow.
The hike: This is a 3-day loop. We start at the Goose Creek Trailhead. We hike down the Goose Creek Trail. Turn left onto the McCurdy Park Trail. We can stay on that trail or take the Lake Park Trail to the Hawkins Pass Trail. That will take us back to the trailhead.
Well behaved dogs are allowed. No Pitbulls.
