Please read all of the directions. If you are looking for a cardio workout this is not the hike for you. I hike to stay in shape for backpacking, enjoy being out and to take pictures.
Directions to the trailhead. Drive to Castle Rock on I-25 and take exit 182. Go west on Wolfensburger Rd. Drive about 3 miles and turn right onto Coachline Rd. at a traffic circle. Turn left at the stoplight onto Foothills Drive. Then turn left after you pass Clear Sky elementary School, onto Clear Sky Way. After you pass the school turn left into Bison Park. Park there next to the road. Please be there at 9:00.
Ridgeline Open Space Hike - Day Hikes Near Denver
The hike: We are going to hike the Green Loop. It's 4.2 miles with great views of Castle Rock and to the west. I'd rate the hike as moderate.
There are restrooms at the trailhead.
Well behaved dogs are allowed. No Pitbulls.
