Kentucky Falls
Details
A 4.4 mile out-and-back hike with 895 ft elevation gain.
A lovely forest hike with three waterfalls.
What to Bring:
Bring water, good shoes/boots, and snacks for the trail.
Travel Details:
We'll meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 6th at the South Eugene High School parking lot (the corner of 19th & Patterson). Carpools will leave Eugene shortly after 9 A.M. From there, we'll caravan to the trailhead. The last stretch includes driving gravel logging roads.
Total hiking: 4.4 miles
Elevation gain: 895 ft
Drive (one way): Approx 1.5 hours; 49 miles

This hike may be rescheduled or cancelled if severe weather or wildfire activity arises. There's nothing on the radar yet, but conditions can change quickly in the Cascades during the summer months. As the date draws near, I'll continue to monitor conditions and send out updates to the group as needed.
