San Sebastian Street Festival - Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián 2024

The annual Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a cultural celebration, parade and block party all in one. The four-day extravaganza features a parade that’s been called the Puerto Rican version of Mardi Gras as well as four stages of contemporary and traditional musical performances, over 350 artisans and crafters displaying their unique works, island fare and libations, DJ sets and dancing.

This edition of the Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián will last four days, starting on Thursday, January 18, and will last until Sunday, January 21, 2024. The artistic presentations will take place in Plaza Colón, Plaza de Armas, Plaza del Quinto Centenario, Plaza de la Barandilla and in the community of La Perla.

TRANSPORTATION:
BUS SYSTEM:
- There will be two stations to board: Hiram Bithorn Stadium and the Sagrado Corazón Urban Train Station. $5 round trip. You can choose to park your vehicle at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium for a cost of $5.
On Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. m. until 9:00 p.m. m. The return from Old San Juan will be until 2:00 in the morning.
The return of passengers to the transportation stations will be at stops from the south side of the Capitol. Passengers heading to the Sagrado Corazón station will be at the stop on Avenida de la Constitución, next to the Old Casino of Puerto Rico. For those returning to the Hiram Bithorn Stadium, the stop will be in the Paseo Covadonga area.
maritime service
There will be three boats from Cataño providing the service in an extended schedule. On Thursday and Friday it will be from 7:30 in the morning until 1:00 in the morning. Saturday and Sunday they will operate until 2:00 in the morning. The established fee is $1.
The types of payment will be: cash, debit cards, credit cards and the mobile ATH application.
TAXI:
-They will have space in the stations of the Hiram Bithorn Stadium and the Sagrado Corazón Urban Train Station.
- A station was opened leaving the parking lot of the Treasury Department in Old San Juan. The units will be able to leave five by five to pick up passengers in the dock area, and then leave Old San Juan. - There will be a taxi station at the San Juan Convention Center.
UBER:
- Drivers will use the regular vehicular transport flow.
The recommendation is NOT to use a personal vehicle, it is better to use the public transportation that suits you best.
