Northwash Canyoneering Trip

Join the Hiking and Nature Club for an exciting wilderness canyon adventure! This backcountry rappelling expedition will take you through breathtaking landscapes and challenging terrains, providing the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the great outdoors. Whether you are a seasoned canyoneer or looking to sharpen canyon skills, this event is for you.

You must have your own canyoneering equipment! Helmet, harness, locking carabiners, PAS, and suitable descender (not ATC). I am limited on the number of people on this trip per number of leaders and you must have adequate canyoneering experience before signing up. More details will be posted closer to the event.

Cancellation Policy: Only sign up if you are coming! Out of respect for the people on the waitlist and to account for the work it takes to replan logistics when there is a cancelation, if you cancel, there is a 40$ cancellation fee. That must be paid by June 16th, 2025. The cancelation fee goes toward covering the groups yearly Meetup subscription, which has more than doubled in the last year.
