Wednesday Night: Mt. Van Cott & Beyond from Colorow

This Wednesday, we'll meet at Colorow Dr. near the Natural History Museum and hike up the south side of Mt. Van Cott. From the top of Van Cott, we'll continue northeast on a smaller trail and reach an elevation of around 6800 ft. Total distance will be between 6 and 7 miles. Net elevation gain will around 1800 ft. Please bring a headlamp for the hike down. Also, I am keeping an eye on the weather for Wednesday. Right now some showers are expected, which may push this back a week. But it is still far out for an accurate forecast.
