Wednesday Night: Bald Mountain from Big Mountain Summit

*** The trailhead is just 35 minutes from downtown SLC, no further than Brighton or Alta, o come up my way this weel to escape the heat***

This Wednesday, we will continue to chase spring flowers and cooler evening temperatures, meeting at Big Summit Pass Trailhead above Little Dell and hiking the Great Western Trail to Bald Mountain. The hike is 6.7 miles with just over 1600 ft of elevation gain. The hike has a double peak, so the elevation gain is spread out, and you should expect a decent climb on the return trip, but that's good training. Here is the Alltrails page for the hike:
