Slate Creek Loop (Uintas) - Snowshoe Hike
Details
For this hike, we will meet at 11:00am to begin hiking at 11:15am. There should hopefully be plenty of snow for snow shoes, but micro-spikes may suffice for this trail.
This moderately challenging loop trail winds through dense forests of pine and aspen, alongside the picturesque Slate Creek. Hikers will enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding peaks and valleys
Trailhead/Meeting Spot:
Yellow Pine Trailhead, near Kamas, UT
Bring your snowshoes (rentals available at local outdoor shops), warm clothing and layers, water, and snacks.
