About us
Hi Friends,
In this group, you will find events for dancing, singing, hiking, dinners, concerts, etc. Meetup groups do not have a specific set of people, they tend to be very dynamic. But if you attend the events regularly, you will find people who share similar hobbies and vibe as yours. Eventually someone may invite you home for a potluck, private event etc.
I value authenticity and peace. I am a nice person, and care about building community, and for folks to have activities to do. But I do not owe anyone anything. Please come with an attitude to give. If everyone gives, then everyone receives. But if you come with entitlement to receive, then I will remove you from the group.
I do not make any money out of any of these events. Meetup charges a good chunk of money as organizational fees, so this is really a service that I am making available to people free of charge, with no ulterior motive.
My intention is purely altruistic and to spread social joy. So please try to match the vibe.
Sometimes I may post multiple events for the same time-slot, what that means is there are tons of things going on. I may show up to only one of the events, but I still want to offer others a chance to attend other interesting events, and I do that as a service to the community.
If it is a dinner/lunch/hike that I am hosting, then I will surely greet you and come speak with you. But if it is a community event where I am simply an attendant, you should focus on enjoying the event and making friends through that community or hobby. And then when you meet me later for a hike or dinner, I would love to hear all about it!! cos that's how we inter-weave a community around us.
No flirting, DMs or hidden agendas. This is not a dating platform, nor a place to advertise any business.
Be respectful. Show up for others the way you’d want them to show up for you.
Please use a real photo in your profile, you are worth knowing.
Some folks may take group photos during the event to share on social media or our website. If you'd prefer not to appear in any photos, please let them know before the event begins.
If you send me private messages on this platform for any kind of coordination or driving directions, please do not expect timely replies. I don’t check messages here. I am out and about dancing, singing, and meeting wonderful people like you!!
Once I know you well, I will give you my number.
Most-importantly, please have a wonderful peaceful day! and spread the joy!
