If you start from Taipei, you can take HSR (No. 805) leaving Taipei main at 07:11 and arriving at Miaoli at 07:59, and walk to Fengfu (豐富） TRA station taking the local train 2133 to Tai’an （泰安）(8:13 departure and 8:45 arrival), and then wait for bus 839 leaving at 9:00 am to Bogongkeng (伯公坑）, where we will meet the rest of the group.
