Hiking around Göteborg

Join us for a weekend adventure from Gothenburg to Møn Island in Denmark! We’ll hike, camp by the beach, visit the spectacular Møns Klint, swim, explore, and enjoy a relaxed weekend in nature. 🌿🌊

### 🚗 Friday — Gothenburg → Møn Island

We meet at Liseberg Station bus stop in Gothenburg on Friday evening, 21 August.
We’ll travel in 2 cars, with around 4–5 people in each car. The drive takes approximately 5 hours, including the journey to our camping spot on Møn.
In the evening, we arrive at a campsite near the beach, where we’ll set up our tents and spend the night. ⛺🌅

### 🥾 Saturday — Hike to Møns Klint

After breakfast, we’ll start our hike/walk towards the famous Møns Klint, one of Denmark’s most spectacular natural attractions.
The nice thing is that we don’t need to carry all our camping equipment during the hike. We can leave the tents and other belongings safely in the cars and take only a small backpack with water, food, and anything else needed for the day.
After exploring Møns Klint and enjoying the scenery, we’ll return to the same camping spot in the evening.
Then it’s time to relax! We can swim, enjoy the beach, have dinner, and spend the evening together at the campsite. 🌊🔥⛺

### 🌿 Sunday — Møn → Gothenburg

After breakfast or lunch, we’ll pack up and start driving back towards Gothenburg.
We can make a few stops along the way and visit interesting places depending on the group's interests and how much time we have.
We expect to be back in Gothenburg on Sunday evening.

### 💰 Cost

We’ll share the cost of fuel and the Øresund Bridge (Øresundsbron) toll between everyone travelling in the cars.
The estimated cost is around 500 SEK per person for fuel + Øresundsbron toll.

### 🎒 Who is this for?

This trip is for people who enjoy hiking, camping, nature, road trips, swimming, and meeting new people.
You don’t need to be an experienced hiker, but you should be comfortable walking for several hours and carrying a small day backpack.
Bring your tent, sleeping gear, hiking shoes, clothes suitable for changing weather, swimwear, water, food, and your adventurous spirit! 😄
Let’s escape the city for a weekend and enjoy Møn’s beautiful nature, dramatic cliffs, beach, and good company. 🥾🌊🌿
