364. Overnight Hike in Stora Dyrö island
Details
Join us for an adventurous easy overnight hike through the beautiful Dyrö island this weekend! We’ll be hiking from Saturday to Sunday (overnight), immersing ourselves in nature and enjoying the peaceful outdoors.
🚌 Meeting point & transport:
We take the Västtågen 3742 from Göteborg central at 10:37 on Saturday to Ytterby station, from there we take bus 302 to Rökan and then we take boat 302 to Dyrön södra, where we'll arrive at 12:10, where our hike begins.
We’ll take another boat at 12:10 from Dyrö to Rönnängs and bus and train back to Gothenburg at 14:20 as Martin described bellow in comments .
🥾 Hike details:
- Day 1: ~6 km hike
- Day 2: ~6 km hike
- We’ll set up camp beside point 4 on the Mapy route and enjoy a night under the stars (or in a shelter!).
🎒 What to bring:
- Backpack
- Sleeping bag & sleeping pad
- Tent (required unless you are absolutely sure you want to try the shelter)
- Enough food and water for two days
- Suitable clothes and shoes for hiking
- Headlamp
- Good vibes and a love for nature!
⚠️ Important Notes:
- The shelter is first come, first served, and we cannot guarantee there will be space. It’s strongly recommended to bring a tent in case the shelter is already taken.
