Lake George 2023!
Details
Join us for another fun-filled weekend at one of the best destinations in the Northeast! Your time is your own during the trip, but I'll have two hikes and a Saturday sunset dinner cruise planned for the weekend, plus a few other activities.
This year I'm staying at the Fort William Henry Hotel, smack dab in the middle of town. From there it's about a three minute walk to the lake and dinner cruise, mini-golf, the Adirondack Pub & Brewery, the Adirondack wine and Food Festival, and just a couple minutes more to our favorite night spot, Lake George Beach Club. The hotel also boasts the largest pool in Lake George.
I've booked a room in the "standard west" section of the hotel (which looks like a typical two-level motel and is cheaper than the main hotel), but you can stay wherever you like. Howard Johnson by Wyndham is a less expensive alternative right across the street, or you can set up a tent at a nearby campground.
For me the trip wouldn't be complete without a buffet dinner cruise with live music and cash bar aboard the Lac du Saint Sacrement steamboat, and you can book that baby right here: lakegeorgesteamboat.com. BE SURE TO ENTER THE GROUP NAME IN THE "COMPANY" TEXT FIELD WHEN BOOKING so that we're all seated together, and so I won't need to have several conversations with the boat company about who's with the group and who isn't! You'll want to select the "SAINT" dinner cruise for Saturday, June 24. There's also a cruise only option, so be sure to pick the one you want.
