Most hikers should be able to manage this trail, with the most challenging part being a stream crossing on stepping stones (pack your water shoes and pick up a stick along the way and you should have no problem at all). At the end of the trail there's a big pay-off in the form of a really spectacular view across the Hudson River Valley and toward the adjacent mountains, so we'll spend some time there taking it all in.

Since the trail is on the short side (4.5 miles) we'll check out Plattekill Falls after returning to the parking area. Getting there entails a grueling 5 minute walk ๐Ÿ˜† on the road, and the falls won't disappoint!

Back at the lot, we'll grill up some grub and sip some suds. I'll have the burgers, buns, and cheese, you bring something else, please.

Plan to carpool, since the lot is on the smallish side.
