This will be a 3 day, 2 night trip visiting Vancouver Island over the Easter long weekend during the cherry blossom peak season from Friday, April 3rd to Sunday April 5th.

Trip fee
350 per adult if you sign up by March 20th.
400 per adult after March 20th. This include:
- 1 Day trip in Nanaimo
- 1 Day trip in Port Renfrew - Tall Tree Capital of Canada
- 1 Day trip in Victoria
- Car transportation
- 1 ferry ticket - Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) to Nanaimo.
- 1 ferry ticket - Victoria (Swartz Bat) to Vancouver (Tsawwassen).
- 1 night hotel stay with free breakfast.
- 1 night cottage stay with free breakfast.
Does not include:
- Parking fees (if applicable)
- Dinning out
- Entrance ticket (i.e. art galleries, museum, etc.)

Hotel room sharing
There will be 1 room for mens and 1 room for women. To reduce cost, queen size bed are to be shared by 2 person of the same gender. If you do not wish to share, it will be an additional $25-50/night to have the whole bed for yourself. If you wish to have a private hotel room, will be an additional $100-150/night. Price may vary depending on seasonality and availability. Kindly let the host know before start of the trip if you would like to make such arrangements.

Booking this trip
To reserve your spot on this trip, 50% of the payment must be made in advance by e-transfer and the remaining 50% can be given in cash at the start of the trip.

Refund & cancellation
If you cancel 7 days before the trip, the full amount will be refunded excluding any processing fee. After this period, all fees will be non refundable but it's possible to give your spot to a friend or family member. In the rare case we cancel the trip due to extreme weather conditions or other unexpected circumstances, all fees will be refunded in full.

General notice
If the weather forecast is uncertain, expect the worse and plan accordingly for that. If the weather is better than expected, we can always leave the extra gear in the car.
Cotton socks, running shoes and jeans are not acceptable clothing for winter or alpine hikes and you maybe ask to return home for your safety. However, summer or lower altitude hikes with no snow or ice is ok to wear such clothing for beginners if you have nothing else but consult with the host in advance before joining.
Friendly dogs & kids are welcome to join with a supervised adult. If the event is more than 3hrs, you might want to consider bring some food and drink. If you wish to leave early, you may do so at anytime. There is a possibility this event could be rescheduled to the following week due to any unexpected situation / weather condition. However, the odds are low.
