FNST Maintenance Work Party - Econfina

We will meet at Scott Road Trailhead then travel the forest access road towards Econfina Creek. The goal of this work party is to install an new puncheon (footbridge) where an underground stream is starting to wash out the trail from below. We will be moving 12' boards, tools, and parts to install the new footbridge. All skill levels are welcome!

We will provide PPE or you can bring your own hearing, eye, hand, and head protection. Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and long sleeve shirts. Dress appropriately for the weather, considering sunscreen and bug spray. Please bring enough fluids and snacks for a 4 hour work party. Ideally we will finish early, but we do have several trips to make with the lumber.

JSEAs and AOR forms must be reviewed and signed. Safety briefing will be held prior to commencing work.
