Volunteer Work Party - Trail Maintenance Western Pine Log Section

We will be doing trail maintenance on the western Pine Log trail section of the Florida National Scenic Trail. Long pants, closed toe shoes, and long sleeve shirts are required.

We will provide hard hats, safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection. Please bring food/snacks, drinks, bug spray, sunscreen. We will be focusing on general trail widening, and painting orange blazes along the trail, so all are welcome no matter your skill level. We'll be using the gas powered hedger, loppers, chainsaw, handsaws, and painting. If you are not familiar with this equipment, we will teach you onsite (except chainsaw, which requires a USFS certification to operate).
