Local McAlpine Creek Park

Let’s get out after work and enjoy this beautiful weather! Wednesday afternoon promises to be partly sunny and 80.

We’ll walk a steady pace along the small lake, through woods with a canopy of mature trees, along a bog that hosts herons and other water loving birds, and on open fields.

The trail is mostly natural or gravel surface. This portion is mostly flat with no elevation change and is considered easy. We’ll do a little over 3 miles.

With attending this event you agree to participate at your own risk and Charlotte Piedmont Hiking Club and its leaders will not be liable for any injuries or mishaps.

Restrooms open near the entrance of the parking lot.

Bring water and wear good walking or hiking shoes. Dogs on 6-foot leash welcome!
