Saturday noon should be in the upper 60s and partly cloudy. Just right for a hike right here in Charlotte.

We will do about 4.5 miles on totally natural trails. No elevation change, and considered easy, but there are a couple of up and down hills.

Our hike will take us through mostly wooded trails, past Dragonfly Pond, and on bridges over streams. We will take a short break at the historic Robinson Rockhouse Ruins built circa 1790. If you’ve never seen the ruins, it is very impressive how much of the walls are standing. You can even walk ‘through the house’! How often can you do that through ruins, especially in Charlotte?

With attending this hike you agree to participate at your own risk and Charlotte Piedmont Hiking Club and its leaders will not be liable for any injuries or mishaps.

Dogs on 6-foot leash welcome on this hike.
Bring water and wear good walking or hiking shoes.
Restrooms in Nature Center.
