Let's kick off the weekend early with a brisk walk along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway! Then for those that are interested, we will head over to the Middle James Brewery. Trade in your computer screen for some scenic views as we explore the southern section of this beautiful trail, heading toward the South Carolina border and back.

### Hike Information

* Meet at Bell Johnston Community Center at 4:15 pm (1000 Johnston Dr, Pineville, NC 28134)
* **Distance:** Approximately **3.5 miles** (Out and Back)
* **Pace:** About **3.0 mph** (plus or minus) – a steady, brisk walk.
* **Terrain:** Mostly **flat** paved greenway with one or two moderate hills to get the heart rate up!
* **Timing is Key:** Sunset is around 5:15 PM, with darkness setting in by 5:40 PM. If we keep our pace, we should finish safely before it gets too dark. Please arrive on time so we can hit the trail promptly!

### What to Bring

* Comfortable walking shoes
* Water
* A light layer (it will cool down quickly after sunset!)
* A small headlamp or flashlight (just in case!)
