Forty Acre Rock Loop and Beaver Pond Overlook, 4 miles

Alltrails rates this trail Moderate. We will hike about 4 miles, there is about 400 feet of gain. Hike should last somewhere between 1.5 and 2 hours but it could go longer, so if you are on a tight schedule please keep this in mind. Hike pace will be 2.5 to 3.0 mph. Here is a website that has a map. You should bring a map, or download to your Alltrails or Avensa app.

Rain is forecasted for Saturday so the the trail will be slick and muddy! Please wear hiking boots (preferably waterproof) and consider bring a walking stick.

Bring water and snacks!

There is a strong likelihood that some of us will stop by a pub or brewery on way back to Charlotte :-)
