Morrow Mountain - moderate 4.1 mile trail and optional Farm lunch

Note: Lunch before the hike at Juneberry Farms is from Noon to 1pm and is optional with limited tickets available for purchase for $35 on their website listed below. I have not been to the farm but the website describes it as a Farmhouse lunch. I have purchased a ticket!

HIKE: **starts at 2pm:
Fall mountain trail at Morrow Mountain state park is rated moderate with 4.1 miles with 534 elevation. The loop trail starts with a section following the Yadkin River and climbs to the summit of Fall Mountain and descends back to trail head/parking lot.

**Be prepared for lots of rocks, leaves and potentially a small stream crossing so please wear proper hiking shoes. This will be a slower paced hike.

Restrooms: There are restrooms at the trail head parking lot.

***We will meet in the field by the restrooms by the Boat House parking lot.

Also note: cell reception is spotty at trail head/parking lot.

OPTIONAL LUNCH: Juneberry farms, $35, limited 12 tickets for the Farmer's Lunch from 12pm-1pm and directly through the farm. If you purchase, please make a comment so I will know who to expect for lunch and not just hike!
The farm is approximately 25-30 miles from trailhead. Hike starts at 2pm.

**since the lunch is separate from the hike - if the weather turns and the hiking portion is cancelled then please keep this in mind as the lunch is separate and individually purchased. Be prepared to attend the lunch as it very well may not be refundable.
