Howl At The Moon Hike - 5 Miles Easy

The group will leave promptly at 6:30.
Ever wanted to dress up with glow sticks and lights and go on a moon lit walk? If so, this event is for you. Join us as we go on a night hike designed for everyone with the Snow Moon overhead.

Prep Your Lights:
Participants are encouraged to wear something that lights up or glows. Think about searching the dollar stores, craft stores, or online for glow sticks, LED glasses, hats, gloves, wire, dresses and jackets online. These items are usually worn to EDM events. Let's glow!

Can you get by with moonlight alone? Just a glow stick? Let's see who can bring their light game!!

Important Safety Information:
• Please have your name along with a real photo with your face clearly seen as your profile picture.
If you do not have these two things in place on your profile, you'll be moved to the waitlist until it's changed. We need to know who you are and be able to recognize you in your photo.
• Guests must sign up individually for safety reasons.
• Please participate in the event as described and let us know when you cannot attend. We regularly review "No Shows" because the group waits for you to arrive before we start the event.
• Kindness and respect make every event better. We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable; and if you don't, please talk to the host or message the host on the app.

Route:
We'll travel a total of about 5 miles from the trailhead at Pike Nurseries to the mid point near Trader Joe's and back. The route is pictured in the photos.

Not a Ruck:
This is the same route we take for the Tuesday Ruck but everyone is welcome to attend without carrying weight.

Dogs:
Please no dogs on this one because it is dark and difficult for the oncoming bikes, walkers, and runners to see your furry friend.

Weather:
This event will be cancelled during inclement weather.

Restroom:
At the half way point.

Terrain:
Boardwalks, some pavement and mostly concrete.

Pace:
At your own pace. There is a host that you may follow or you can follow the route map located in the photos. If you choose not to stay with the host, it's your responsibility to find your way back to the trail exit located near trail marker 3.5.

Meet:
The trailhead is just to the left when facing Pike Nurseries. We will leave promptly at 6:30.
