Please read full description!!!! Lets meet at Stevens Creek Nature Preserve. The trail is about 4 miles and is mostly flat. It will take about an hour and a half to walk. All trails describes the trail as - "The trails are generally considered easy. The preserve is home to many types of wildlife, including birds and the federally endangered Carolina Heelsplitter mussel."
The trailhead is located to the left of the nature center at 15700 Thompson Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227. Lets meet in front of the Nature Center. The pace for this hike will be around 2.7 mph.
Its likely the rails will be muddy. Wear hiking boots. Bring plenty of water for yourself and your animal.
