Scenic Sunday Social Hike at Latta Preserve | Buzzard Rock lookout

Join us Sunday, June 7 from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM for a scenic social hike at Latta Nature Preserve.
Parking:
Catawba and BeechwoodTrails parking area inside Latta Nature Preserve.
We will begin at the Catawba Trail parking area and hike through wooded lakeside trails toward the Buzzard Rock area and overlook sections of the preserve.
We do not start at the Buzzard Rock Trailhead because that is too short route.
This will be a moderately paced wellness and social hike of approximately 4.5–5 miles total over about 2 hours.

• a relaxed and friendly atmosphere
Please bring:
• water, snacks
• comfortable walking or hiking shoes
• bug spray
• light rain jacket or umbrella just in case of light showers
Important:
Latta Preserve has multiple parking pull-offs and trail intersections, so please arrive a little early. We will meet near the trailhead sign and begin promptly at 10:00 AM.
