Cane Creek Park 4.5 miles with low elevation- slower paced.

Let’s explore Cane Creek Park and walk the trail by the lake!

There’s no daily park fee from November-March.

Parking: We will meet by the restrooms at parking lot #1 on the right as you enter the day park area. There should be plenty of parking in lot 1 but if not there is overflow parking across the road and lot #2 is not far.

Hike/Walk: We will take the Purple trail. It is an out and back and winds through a dense oak and hickory forest along the water and there is a creek crossing. Without rains there is one very small one.

This trail is fairly flat but there are a lot of rocks, roots and leaves!

Optional: bring a lunch and after the hike we can sit near the water and eat.
