Nordic Walking to Ještěd Tower: Scenic Mountain Trail Adventure

🏃‍♀️ Join us for an energizing Nordic walking tour! (Walking without poles is also welcome)

We invite all Nordic walking enthusiasts to join us on a scenic hike to Mount Ještěd! This route leads through beautiful forest trails and offers breathtaking views of Czech nature. At the summit, we’ll reach the famous Ještěd Tower, with panoramic views of Liberec and the surrounding areas. Join us for a day of fresh air, light exercise, and meeting new people.

Route:

1. Starting in Horni Hanychov: We’ll begin our hike from tram stop Horni Hanychov, heading up the forest trail towards Ještěd Tower.
2. Climb with Scenic Views: Along the route, we’ll stop at viewpoints to rest and enjoy the landscapes.
3. Ještěd Summit: At the top, we’ll reach Ještěd Tower, where we can take photos, have a snack, and relax.
4. Return Path: We’ll loop back, finishing at our starting point.

## ⏱ Timeline:

• 9:00 - Group meeting and prompt start
• 10:45 - Reach Ještěd Tower
• 11:15 - Break and refreshments
• 11:45 - Begin descent
• 13:00 - Return to starting point

## 🎒 What to Bring:

• Nordic walking poles (if you have them)
• Comfortable athletic shoes with good grip
• Breathable, weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)
• At least 1.5L of water
• Light snacks
• Small backpack
• Cash for refreshments (some places don't accept cards)

## ℹ️ Important Information:

• Please arrive 5-10 minutes early
• Event runs in light rain but may be rescheduled in severe weather
• Trail is well-marked and maintained

## 🚆 Getting There:

• From Liberec center: Take tram #3 to final stop (Horní Hanychov)
• By car: Parking available
• Meeting point GPS: 50°44'17.1"N 15°00'44.0"E
• How to Get There from Prague:
  From Prague, you can take a direct bus to Liberec from the Černý Most bus station. The trip takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Liberec bus station, take tram number 3 towards Horni Hanychov. The tram ride takes approximately 20 minutes, and you’ll get off at the final stop
