🔴 Hard Advanced Endurance Hike | Class 2 | 7–10+ Miles
Details
## Event Description
### Details
This is a hard advanced endurance hike for members who are ready for longer mileage, sustained movement, and more demanding terrain.
This is not a beginner hike and not a casual walk. Expect a stronger pace, longer time on trail, elevation changes, uneven footing, and steady effort over several miles.
The goal is controlled endurance — not rushing, not showing off, and not pushing past smart limits.
***
## 📏 Distance + Terrain
• 7–10+ miles total
• Class 2 terrain
• Sustained trail movement
• Moderate to stronger elevation changes
• Rocks, roots, uneven tread, narrow sections, or steeper climbs possible
• Longer time on feet with fewer long stops
This is for members who already have trail experience and are working toward stronger endurance, better pacing, and confidence on more demanding routes.
***
## 🎒 Endurance + Pace
• Controlled advanced pace
• Fewer breaks than easy or moderate hikes
• Short regroup points as needed
• Focus on stamina, trail rhythm, and smart movement
• Pack, water, food, footwear, and weather prep matter
This is not a race. This is a structured endurance hike with safety, awareness, and pacing built into the plan.
***
## 🧠 Who This Is For
• Members comfortable with 6+ mile hikes
• Members with prior hiking experience
• Hikers building endurance for longer routes
• Members comfortable with elevation, rocks, roots, and uneven ground
• Those who can manage pace, hydration, food, and trail focus over several hours
This is not the right fit for first-time hikers or anyone unsure about distance, footing, or sustained effort.
