Topic:

Have you ever understood a problem or a feeling completely…yet still feel heavy and stuck?

When we don't fully feel our emotions, it starts to cost energy. Energy we could be spending towards what we’re building.

While insight is powerful, we often hit a wall where understanding a feeling doesn’t actually release it. We end up sinking deeper into a quicksand of reason and intellectualization.

For this hike discussion, we will brainstorm:

  • How do you know when it’s time to stop analyzing and start feeling?
  • What does it mean to feel something "all the way through" the body? And how can one do so successfully?

This topic has been inspired by our members, whose questions and reflections sparked me to look into it deeper.

The trail is 2.3 miles, over 700 ft of elevation, considered a moderate hike.

I will meet you by the entrance of the trail, wait for everybody, then begin hiking at 8:10am.
