Theme of this hike: Silent Meditation

When was the last time you had a couple hours alone with your own mind, out in nature, without actually being alone?

In a world of constant noise (music, notifications, videos, podcasts, other people’s thoughts) we often lose sight of the valuable essence of silence.

We turn down music when trying to find an address or a parking spot, backing out of a tight driveway or parallel parking…so why not give our minds the same courtesy when trying to find deeper truths / navigate our way through challenges?

This will be a no-talking hike which means it’s for those who are seeking to have an experience of movement and silence with others. To allow space for awkward silence, and shift our attention towards our breath and body.

‼️Please be mindful this hike is intentionally set up in a way where talking / chatting will be disruptive to the whole experience. This an opportunity to go inward with other fellow deep thinkers. (Trail wayfinding logistics, safety concerns are an exception).

I will greet you by the Parma Park entrance by:
📍41 El Cielito Rd, Santa Barbara 93105

Then begin our silent meditative hike at 8:10am.

We will be hiking the Plateau Trail (0.6 miles) to Sycamore Creek West Loop trail (0.4 miles)

Elevation is 50-80 feet, considered an easy hike.
