Why Castlewood Canyon?

Castlewood Canyon is a stunning park located in Parker. It boasts incredible views, diverse trails, and a fascinating history. It's the perfect place to escape the city, breathe in some fresh air, and connect with nature.

The Plan:

We'll be meeting at the Homestead TH.

Our hike will be a 4.6 mile loop, giving us a chance to explore the canyon's beauty. Don't worry, it's not a race! We'll take our time, enjoy the scenery, and chat along the way.

Important Reminders:

- Snakes: Be aware of your surroundings, especially for rattlesnakes. Keep and eye on the trail.
- Leashes: Pets are welcome, but please keep them on a leash for their safety and the safety of others.
-Essentials: Pack plenty of water, snacks to keep your energy up, and sunscreen to protect your skin.
- Yarn Time: And of course, don't forget your yarn, needles/hooks, and any other accessories you need for a relaxing knit or crochet session! A hat is also a great idea to keep the sun out of your eyes.
